WISH UPON A WEDDING: RICK PHAM AND FAWN LEE

Today, we had the privilege of performing for Rick Pham and Fawn Lee's 10th Wedding Anniversary/Vow Renewal, but this wasn't an ordinary performance. Four years ago, Fawn was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. She was told then she had just one year to live, but has since beaten those odds.

Thanks to Wish Upon A Wedding, Fawn and Rick relived their wedding and renewed their wedding vows in the same spot at Mountain Winery where they got married exactly ten years ago.

KTVU Channel 2 was there four years ago when Fawn first learned of her diagnosis and was there today to share in that story.

LAS VEGAS RESORT WORLD GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY

Our group had the privilege of performing with Kun Seng Keng from Malaysia (World Champion Lion Dancers), Leung's White Crane from San Francisco (Western Lion King Champions), and Wan Chi Ming Hung Gar Institute from New York on May 5 for Resort World in Las Vegas, NV.

Resort World will be the largest Las Vegas resort by the time it is built.

San Jose Youth Ballet's The Nutcracker

This year marks our return to the San Jose Youth Ballet's The Nutcracker. We last performed in 2004 and had a great time as we performed to the music of Tchaikovsky. It was definitely a change of pace from our usual loud drums and cymbals, and we enjoyed every minute of it!

MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE TRIP 2014

This Summer, we had the privilege of traveling to Malaysia and Singapore to receive special training. Two of our own, Alan and Eva, received training from members of The Khuan Loke Dragon and Lion Dance Association and the Sar Ping Family of Lion Dance groups. Eva also had the special privilege of being initiated to become Grandmaster Robin Chan's First Female Disciple, and Last Overall Disciple. Check out more pictures from our trip below.
